"While speaking with parents after an EFI lesson. One student who had never initiated conversation in English, pointed to his sister in a stroller and announced to me, ¨She is little¨ He wanted to be included in the adults conversation. We all stopped our conversation and immediately began to ask about his little sister. Needless to say, I was thrilled to have this three year old who normally never responds in his own language muchless English, to actually initiate conversation."
